B.F.- 888 improves germination helps buffer fertilizer solutions and encourages nutrient uptake by the plant.
B.F.-888 boosts soil life and helps to bring problem soils back into production.
B.F.-888 can be applied in the row, on the seed at a rate of 1 to 2 quarts per acre when mixed 1:1, or more, with water. Can also be broadcast applied with field sprayer, mixed in 10 to 20 gallons of water and applied at a rate of 1 to 2 gallons per acre. Irrigation injection applied at a rate of 1 to 2 gallons per acre. To insure proper coverage set injection system to distribute 1 gallon per acre. If not mixing with fertilizer, inject directly into irrigation system without diluting. If mixing with liquid fertilizer that has not already been diluted with water, then mix at a rate of 1:1 with water before applying.
B.F.-888 blends well with U.S. AG’s B.F.-H.F.F. (fish fertilizer) and liquid commercial fertilizers too. Mix in the following order while circulating: 1) water, 2) fertilizers or chemicals, 3) B.F.-888.
DO NOT mix with insecticides or fungicides.
DO NOT apply within two weeks of any fungicide application.
DO NOT mix with chlorinated water. If mixing with an herbicide be sure to jar test.
Crop Applications
Alfalfa – Apply to 4 to 8 gallons of Hydrolyzed Fish Fertilizer (B.F.-H.F.F.) per acre along with 1 quart of B.F.-888 at start of season (first sign of green in crown or at planting).
Soybeans and other Legumes – At planting apply in the row, on the seed 1 to 2 gallons of B.F.-H.F.F. per acre along 1 quart B.F.-888. Another option: Before planting broadcast (spray) or incorporate (work in) 4 gallons B.F.-H.F.F. per acre with 1 quart of B.F.-888.
Starter or Sidedress – Add to commercial fertilizer at a rate of 1 to 2 quarts of B.F.-888 per acre. Hail Damage? – 1 to 2 quarts per acre on a hail damaged crop will help plants to heal and produce!
